- Power, energy, current, voltage and three phase concepts
- Utility intake, transformers, switchgear and protection
- UPS systems, stored energy and downstream distribution
- Reading an overview single line diagram and locating dependencies

Standby power and cooling
- Generator systems, fuel autonomy and transfer arrangements
- Testing under representative conditions and recording results
- Heat path, air and liquid cooling concepts and major components
- Control points, airflow, water, leaks and environmental monitoring

Resilience and operational assurance
- Capacity, redundancy, concurrent maintenance and fault isolation
- Failure modes, common mode risks and system dependencies
- Monitoring, alarms, maintenance and periodic testing
- Assessment based on evidence without treating a topology label as a guarantee
